Kodak, a renowned photography and imaging company, In 2016 the brand started using its "camera" logo again by changing the style and the location of the wordmark. Now, the yellow lettering is placed vertically along the right part of the red image. It is written in all capitals of a simple yet confident sans-serif typeface and looks professional and severe. The current version of the Kodak logo features an attractive bold type. The design of the "K" character was taken from the iconic 1971 logo created by Peter Oestrich. In 1935, the combination of red and yellow appeared in the Kodak emblem for the first time. The red-and-black alternative adopted in 2006 survived not more than a decade. Eventually, the company decided to return to its iconic palette. Kodak's marketing strategy focuses on its iconic status in the photography industry, appealing to professional photographers and everyday consumers through nostalgic imagery, storytelling, and digital advancements.
